MHF Scholarship Application 2023

Brief Description:

Each year, the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation (MRLAEF) awards scholarships designed to assist students in advancing their hospitality careers.  Eligible recipients include high school seniors and undergraduate students who dream of pursuing higher education to study the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industries, as well as to instructors who want to continue their education. 

How to Apply

Students complete a single scholarship application. Applications are open March 1 – May 31st, 2023.  Winners will be announced in June and scholarships will be issued in August. Checks are paid to the college enrolled and not to individuals.

Candidates for this fellowship must be U.S. Citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, or international students on an F-1 visa who are currently enrolled at our institution in pursuit of an Undergraduate Hospitality-based degree, including Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management/Baking or Pastry Chef/Hotel Management or other such program.
